The Terni Rotaract Club, founded in 1968, is the oldest in 2090th district. With its more than 30 years of activity, it is well-known to the people of Terni as a sponsor of various socio-cultural initiatives.

To mention just a few among the numerous activities started by the Club are the creation of a scholarship open to all secondary school students, the adoption-at-a-distance of an Albanian child, as well as the realization, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of our city, of a forum on the New Economy, wich saw the participation of numerous scholars and jurists from all parts of Italy.

In addition, there have been various get-togethers with notable speakers: in 2000 with the then Minister of the Treasury, Prof. Fantozzi and in 2004 with the President of the University of Perugia, Prof. Bistoni and in 2006 with N.A.T.O. General Dott. Giaccone.

For the past four years the Club has organized a week-end celebration in honor of Saint Valentine, the Patron of Terni and Love, bringing together hundreds of young people for moments of friendship and fun. In view of the success of this celebration in past years (more than 350 young people form every part of Italy and Europe), we have decided to continue the organization of  "Saint Valentine International Week-end - . . . .the Rotaract in three days".
